1Agreement to Terms
By accessing or registering an account on Engitio (“Engitio”, “we”, “us”), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue using our services.
2Platform & Educational Services
Engitio provides an adaptive English learning platform tailored for IT professionals, including:
- Structured IT communication missions (daily standups, PR code reviews, system design debates, tech interviews).
- Scientific Spaced Repetition (SRS) vocabulary review for domain technical terminology and pronunciation.
- Pedagogical AI Coach for automated grammar evaluation, CEFR placement scoring, and roleplay simulations.
3User Account & Security
When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information and maintain credential confidentiality:
• One Individual per Account: Accounts cannot be shared or sold. Each account tracks individualized learner models and mastery metrics.
• Credential Security: You are responsible for all activities occurring under your credentials. Notify us immediately of unauthorized access.
4AI Credits & Fair Use Policy
Learner-facing AI and AI Credits are disabled for launch. If those optional capabilities are enabled later, this fair-use policy applies:
Credits are only deducted when the AI completes a helpful response. Server timeouts or errors trigger an automatic 100% credit refund.
Completing lessons without hints grants bonus credits (+15), maintaining study streaks awards +20, and daily quotas refresh every morning.
5Intellectual Property Rights
All curriculum materials, software interfaces, scenario scripts, audio briefs, graphic assets, and trademarks on Engitio are the proprietary property of Engitio or licensed partners. You may not scrape, reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any platform content without our prior written consent.
6Educational Disclaimer & Liability
CEFR competency levels (A1 to C2) and readiness scores computed by Engitio are formative educational guidance tools. They do not constitute certified state diplomas or official IELTS/TOEIC test certificates.
The platform is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Engitio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service.
7Termination & Account Closure
You may terminate your account at any time via the Account Deletion workflow in your Data Settings. Engitio reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, attempt malicious reverse-engineering, or abuse AI compute infrastructure.
